The Scoop is Capitol CNCT's confidential Congressional office review platform, where current and former Congressional Staffers can anonymously share what it is like to work for a Member of Congress. Reviews rate offices across categories including leadership, office culture, work-life balance, pay, promotion opportunities, and whether Staffers feel their work is appreciated and rewarding. CNCT verifies that reviewers actually worked for the office while keeping their identities confidential.

Reviews are confidential. Staffers' names do not get placed on the platform with their reviews. It simply says “Staffer.”

Capitol Pulse is Capitol CNCT's Congressional Staffer polling data, offering an inside look at what the people working behind the scenes on Capitol Hill think about current events, legislation, politics, workplace issues, and life in Washington. Staffers anonymously vote in polls, and CNCT analyzes the results to identify trends and differences across party, chamber, age, role, and other demographics.

CNCT Purple is Capitol CNCT's bipartisan networking program for Congressional Staffers. Participants complete a questionnaire about their background, interests, career, and life in D.C., then CNCT matches them with a Staffer from the opposite party who shares common interests. The pair is introduced over email and encouraged to meet for a one-on-one coffee chat, helping Staffers build genuine relationships across the aisle.

Salary Insights is Capitol CNCT's free Congressional Staff salary comparison tool, built using real House and Senate disbursement records. Staffers can compare Congressional salaries based on job title, chamber, party, and years of Hill experience to see the typical salary range for similar roles and where their own pay falls within that range. It gives Congressional Staffers clearer salary data to better understand what their experience is worth on Capitol Hill.
