Congress Backs Ukraine Joining the European Union
56.25% of Congress supports Ukraine joining the European Union , compared with 43.75% who oppose it.
The partisan difference is notable. 62.50% of Democrats support Ukraine joining the EU , compared with 50.00% of Republicans . Republican respondents are evenly divided, with 50.00% supporting and 50.00% opposing Ukraine’s admission.
The result gives Ukraine’s EU membership a narrow majority overall, while Republicans are evenly split on the question.
Congress Picks Talarico in the Texas Senate Race
Congress gives James Talarico the edge in the Texas Senate race , with 50.89% selecting Talarico, 38.93% selecting Ken Paxton, and 10.18% unsure .
The partisan divide is substantial. 75.00% of Democrats pick Talarico , compared with 26.79% of Republicans. Among Republicans, 67.86% select Paxton , while 5.36% are unsure.
The overall result puts Talarico ahead, while the party breakdown shows each party favoring its own candidate by a wide margin.
Congress Expects AOC to Run — But Lose in the Primaries
The largest single response to the question of whether Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will run for president in 2028 is “yes, but will lose in the primaries,” at 50.19% . Another 37.14% say she will not run , while 4.53% expect her to win the Democratic nomination and 8.15% expect her to win the general election.
The parties differ on whether Ocasio-Cortez will enter the race. 65.08% of Republicans expect her to run and lose in the primaries , while 30.16% say she will not run. Democrats are more divided: 44.12% say she will not run, while 35.29% expect her to run and lose in the primaries . Another 14.71% of Democrats expect her to win the general election.
The result gives “run, but lose in the primaries” the largest overall share, while the partisan responses differ over whether Ocasio-Cortez enters the race at all.
Congress Picks Republicans to Win the Congressional Baseball Game
75.15% of Congress predicts Republicans will win the Congressional Baseball Game , compared with 24.85% who pick Democrats.
Republicans are overwhelmingly confident in their team’s chances: 95.12% of Republicans predict a Republican victory . Democrats are more divided, with 55.17% also picking Republicans and 44.83% picking Democrats .
The baseball forecast therefore produces a Republican advantage overall, with the largest partisan difference coming from Republicans’ near-unanimous selection of their own team.
